Raid Preparation Empty Raid Preparation

Post by Oldmate Tue Nov 03, 2015 10:45 am

Seeing as noone has done anything as of yet. I think it is a good idea to at least get something sorted in regards to raids.

This thread is for EVERYONE who is interested in raiding. It will be for putting all your character information down so people organizing the raids have better access to everyone's stats, classes, proficiencies etc etc. Raiding is not going to be your normal walk in the park, you will be expected to be geared correctly, have access to your entire specs and do what the Raid Lead asks of you. This is NOT casual content.

Note: I by no means am the Raid Lead (I have expressed interest), I do have experience high level raiding however, and for that, organization is key.
Without further Ado
If you have multiple toons prepared for raiding please put them in YOUR preferred order of play.

(Please do this from within a Fractal as WvW Server bonuses have an effect on your stats when in towns or the Overworld, also clean of buffs)

My current stats are still in development, so I'm not sure I could say they would be the same for a raid.  I will look into posting what I have so far soon.

I'm not sure of Oldmate's intention with fractal level, but it could be a way to judge a players comfort level with "more" challenging content.

High level Fractals are the closest we have to high level raid like content in comparison. For the sake of making more progress early I feel someone with a Fractal level of say 85, would be better than someone who has a Fractal level of 10. Assuming we even have enough keen, but there doesnt seem to be an overwhelming number of people.

Remember the forum is not very active... we will probably have to do word of mouth. Unless we really start pushing people to get on the fourm.

I am fractal level 19. I don't think this in any ways indicates my experience in end level content, raiding or otherwise in this or any other game.

the fractal lvl wont matter in judging experience and comfortability. The main problem some of use have with fractals is not weither were comfortable but its that we just dont have the AR (wiether lack of gear or currency). seeing as how raids wont have agony, AR wont matter.

Fractal levels doesn't really mean anything cause I sat in teens for the longest time when they first came out and white ran all the way up to 30's. It was my choice not to rush it and perfect my roles I play in fractals on the lower fractals so I knew what i was doing before rushing up into higher levels.

What should be done to test skill is a pvp match in our arena (locked) against players we know will be part of the initial raid team that is going in.

Here are the 4 I could possibly bring depending on the rest of the team.
